I think this one's really god!  It is long and unique!

thanks!

God = backwards dog.  Backwards dog = the opposite of dog.
The opposite of dog = cat.  God = cat.     God is a cat.

I love that game and saw it, but you can't nominate your own projects.
I'll vouch that propose though  smile

Re: ITopic: Propose projects to be Featured (Read first post first !!!)

Hmmm well that's a little too strict, I was thinking about these rules:
* You can sumbit your own project, however, if you do, it must have over 10 love-its
* It must have at least 55 views
* It must be at least two days old
* It must not have any strong violence and only occasional bad language is allowed
* It must not be in any more than 5 galleries
In addition, it only gets featured for one day then it goes off and you can't sumbit it again. What do you think of this idea?  hmm

Thank you for featuring my project http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/nevit/672955 ...

I saw a project by Puresel that might need attention!

It is a fun Atari like car game with pseudo 3D features.

Sorry, but that is almost impossoble. About 1/2 the sound effects I use are from Nintendo and I know many other projects that would be instantly out. Could we reconsider that, because this is like saying that every project must be completley 3rd-party free. And that would be impossoble. Well almost. (yeah I probaly spelt impossoble wrong).

Re: ITopic: Propose projects to be Featured (Read first post first !!!)

I was frustrated trying to get around "format variables drop down in Scratch 1.4"  it looks great locally, but when put online, it goes back to the (variablename [value]) format
and I tried many workarounds on that.  But nothing worked properly.  So I designed
some code to display numbers using 0 through 9 costumes on a sprite.  You pass the
argument in preset variables NumberX, NumberY and Number then broadcast "ShowNumber".  It supports zero blanking.  The code is setup to display integers
from 0 to 999.  You can remix to display whatever range that you need.  Heck, you
can even edit the costumes for the numbers to match your project.  I first used it on my Skydiving Game.  And pulled out the Numbers Code for a Numbers Tutorial.

Any clues why the "stock" variable drop down display modes do not work online?

Re: ITopic: Propose projects to be Featured (Read first post first !!!)

I'd like to recommend greenflash's Variable Tutorial. It's style is brilliant, the text flows, and he explains it clearly. It also has illustrations, and the Scratch Cat!

I know he's featured at the moment, and that the project already has eight loveits (at the moment of visiting). It's also less than two weeks old, but it's like the Paint Net. tutorial; they both explain well.

Thanks for your time,
Chrischb

Lemme get this straight... You want to be on the front page, but you don't want to get better at programming?

More proof that society is messed up nowadays.

ok . When did i say i dont want to make better games ?or better @ programing?

Re: ITopic: Propose projects to be Featured (Read first post first !!!)

I would like to recommend scmb1's Circle Works. It is utterly amazing. And simple. You choose the radius of a circle with a slider variable (or you enter one in with the chatbar). Then you select 'Draw'. A pencil will draw a circle. This is not it. Once done, you can fill in the circle (and it happens very quickly). You can choose if you want to see the axis or not. And once the circle's drawn, a starfish will appear that will read out some calculations on your circle!

There's only rules 2 and 5. There are six love-its. I was the sixth. I can get rid of it though, if it'll help.

http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Yickpoo/548060 This a project Yickpoo made close to 4 months ago. I think this should be featured because... its... well, unique! I've never seen a project like it, at least. Yickpoo is an amazing Scratcher and I think he deserves a little something. This project needs a bit of tinkering here and there, plus, some of the best on Scratch might be able to help with any troubles he may be having. Plus, since Dibbo222's PikAdventure got featured when have you seen an Aussie like us on the front page?  smile

Spider Monkey is finished! ...Not that any of you will know what I'm talking about, but please check it out.  smile  http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/ElPapa/1021823

User Lizzy_1_year has a series of projects dedicated to teach preschoolers colors and shapes.  I think this http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/lizzy_1_year/695954 would be a good project to be featured.
