whitecloud smiled and touched her nose to his shoulder lightly. it was great having him back. ''thank you, tigerfang. for everything that you've ever given me'' she purred. (she takes even the bad times as good times...i try 2, but...that's really hard...)

Cobrastrike backed up as far as he could on the branch to get a running start on a big leap, but the edge of the branch couldn't support his weight and it snapped. He managed to get his claws into aother branch, but he couldn't pull himself up. "Help!" he wailed.

Thicketfur's eyes shone with sadness. "Of course I miss her. But...we had such a great relationship...If you hadn't have died...We'd still be together." He reminded her. "Of course I still love you. I didn't want another mate after you...But Earthsong was there for me, and I did love her, very much...but...I always loved you a little bit more." he sighed. Tears were beginning to form in his eyes again.

Cobrastrike pulled on the branch he was clinging to for dear life, trying to help Ratfang get him onto the branch. He managed to get his foot onto the branch and he pulled himself up. "Thank...You...I could have died!" He panted, breathless.

Agenst her will, tears formed in Hollyhunts eyes. "I know. My will alone was not enough to allow me to return to the living. But when I did, seeing you two together......" she sobbed, but not loud enough to awaken any other cat. "It drove me to the verge of death. But Wildstripes was there to save me. I fell in love with him, figuring I should get over you since I knew you would never come back.....And yet......I could never convince myself you would never come back.....like a light that would never go out......I love Wildstripes, but I haven't yet gotten over you. And I no doubt never will." she said, curling up next to him. "But I can't just abandon Wildstripes. If something happens to him, I would probably return to you. But until that day....."

Tigerfang frowned. 'But I've only given you sadness. I didn't mean to hurt you so bad," he sighed. He was ashamed with himself that it took him so long to realize what love actually was.

"no, tigerfang. you've made me happy!" she insisted. ''without you, i would've died! without you, i wouldn't have any friends! without you...i would never smile the way i do now!'' she licked his cheek and touched her nose to his.............

Earthy, btw, here's what's happened>
Thicketfur found out that Earthsong died because Racoonkit told everyone that Earthsonf was dead. Thicketfur had a MENTAL BREAKDOWN (lol) and got mad at Wildstripes because he figured since Earthsong was dead he could just go crawling back to Hollyhunt XD And now Thicket and Holly are talking together in the nursery. yupyup.

Earthsong watched form starclan as Hollyhunt and Thicketfur talked, a tear rolled down her cheek, she was heartbroken,*He's already over me? He loves Hollyhunt again....* She thought
