How do I make it so that the back of a sprite, in the case a lamborghini, fishtails, so that the back wheels of the car swing from side to side? is this possible with scratch?

its possible, but to randomize it might be hard.
the easiest way(in my opinion) is to create a hidden sprite that hovers in front of it and the car points toward it.
when you want the car to fishtail, make the sprite move back and forth.

You can get a better effect if you make the center of rotation for the car sprite be between the front wheels.

this is a dumb question, but can the center of rotation be different in costumes?
if so, then have a sprite w/ center in the middle of the car so that you can make turning during driving look good.

This may go beyond what you are after, it is a bit complicated and meant to represent a car that is sliding a lot, like a dirt track race car.
Different costumes may work as well. Perhaps you could use the car's speed and direction of turn to switch costumes, you might need one that shows it centered, and two or three showing left and right of center at various degrees of "fishtail". If you just want to show this as it starts off, costumes may be pretty easy.

yeah, i didnt say costumes because i thought for non-glitchy fishtailing you would need a lot.
