I've written to the scratch team, and they told me to put it here. Long story short, I cant upload projects on my PC (dont ask why. too long of a story) but i cant, so i use my PSP for internet access 24/7 ( infact,on it right now). and i realized this website doesnt have an upload button, therefore my PSP cant upload projects. ScratchTeam, perhaps you could allow portable users to upload through the website.

Good idea. An "upload" button on your "My stuff" page when you are logged it would be a handy feature.

You'd also have to consider that, a PSP would have to have your files and projects for scratch, along with the Application, and I don't think a PSP can run /store that, but tell me if I'm wrong.

The point is that with a "upload" button on the web site, you can upload a project from any machine that has a browser, not just ones that can run scratch. Now that even some phones have a lot of memory and web browsers, this would make uploading projects a lot easier. It also makes it easier for people to upload projects that were being blocked by school firewalls.

Correct Kevin, and Jman: the psp can store any file a pc can, however it just cant exe over half of what a PC can. General point, An upload button on the webpage would be excellent, infact Im surprised & Puzzled as to why this website doesnt have one. With a program like scratch, an upload button on the website should be 2nd Nature or rather mandatory.

That's agreed, I just wasn't sure if one could, and I know a phone can store files and such Kevin_Karplus, just look at the iPhone, and also look at the iPod Touch! P.S. I have a mac.

It would work on an iPhone. iPhones can get applications that are downloaded from a computer to the iPhone. So if you upload scratch to and iPhone you can watch your creation and change it at the same time!

This Idea should definately be considered

Erm, please don't bump old topics.
It's a good idea, but I think it could cause problems if someone tries to upload, say, a BYOB or Netscratch project.
