Try your luck at my newest game:
Alien Pinball - Scratch
This game is so complicated that you need to download it in order to play it!
Tell me what you think. I need your feedback.
I used the Chirp compiler to create a stand-alone version:
Alien Pinball - EXE
Alien Pinball - ZIP
This is for Windows only. Download the one the one you want.
Others will have to go to the normal page and download it there.
How to play:
Use your left and right arrow keys to control the flippers to keep the ball in play as long as possible.

Chirp compiler eh? I thought I saw "BYOB rc of august 28 2009" when it was starting up...
How did you make the icon btw? Whenever I try, it just uses a gray block with a windows logo on it.

Search the web, there are plenty of icon editors out there.

Well I know that.
I can get an icon, but I don't know how to replace the windows logo in the BYOB compiler.

Well, the first thing the Chirp compiler does is prompt you for your SB file, then it prompts you for an icon file. It then compiles both together with BYOB and makes an EXE file out of them.

I need to get some ideas on how to spread the word about this game.
Personally, I think the game should have about 500 "love it" votes right now.
But, no one's seen it. How can I boost my views of this game? Should I include anime cats?

I think not too many people are giving it love its because it won't work in the online player. Instead of disabling the game online you could put up a warning screen that the game may run poorly when run online.
And don't include anime or cats or any combination of the two.

I just noticed that the featured "Find the door" project doesn't work online and you have to download it in order to play it. So, maybe there is hope for my project after all...

THANKS EVERYONE!
(Everyone that clicked "love it", that is!)
Alien Pinball is now on the "top loved" list on the front page.
Awesome!
Hopefully, lots of people will see it now and it will finally get some attention.
EDIT: I might just make another pinball machine... we shall see...

I just posted an update to the code on this one. Now the bonus at the end of each ball is shown before being added to your score.
Plus, I tried to fix the flippers for when the ball is rolling down them and you flip. It is better but there is still room for improvement.

it's a little glitchy when the ball comes from the side (the ball bounces to the side and not up)

Thanks. I'm still working on some glitches. When I get it glitch free, I'll make another table.
Anyone have ideas for a theme for my next table?
I was thinking of an old-school table, like El Dorado, or 8-ball deluxe.

You could try one of those haunted houses... preferably with spooky sound effects, and dimly colored bumpers.
