Someone stealing sprites DX

ha ha. well this really isnt a "bug", but i didnt know where to post this. Well.....People keep taking my sprites. See,i have Crohns disease. Its a disease that is an inflammatory disease of the intestines that may affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract from anus to mouth, causing a wide variety of symptoms. It primarily causes abdominal pain, diarrhea (which may be bloody), vomiting, or weight loss, but may also cause complications outside of the gastrointestinal tract such as skin rashes, arthritis and inflammation of the eye. Sounds bad right? :C yep. Well....Also, it can effect you if your angry or sad or something like that.  hmm  I dont want to have a flare up, go to the hospital, as i have done many times now. Can anyone help me stop these sprite stealers before i have another flare up?????

~Arcanine

Please help.....

Wait, Masked ha(s/d, delete unneeded) that disease... Why people keep coming up that they are sick only to get more attention and/or prevent people from "stealing" your woerk? You are probably sick. But keep it to yourself. Don't spam with that bloody diarrhoea.

They actually have every right to take your sprites, as long as they credit you.

No they didn't give credit..... hmm

They better get huge credit anyways, some people are blind and can't see credit in project notes. D:<

Wait, it's an actual "right" to take other people's sprites? What if someone says no, even with credit? Are people still allowed to take it then?

They have no right! You drew something you work hard on for even just a SCHOOL PROJECT, they steal it. It looked amazing, and they got $150 out of it! That's not fair! The scratch way.....
You use it for a charrie you drew up. Somebody downloads and exports. They put it in there project, and THEY say they drew it and not to take it because THEY drew it. They get 150 comments saying something like "Woah! Awesome drawing!" That isn't fair!

Re: Someone stealing sprites DX

If you see somebody using your work without giving credit, try reminding them that the Terms of Use of the Scratch website require that credit be given.  If credit is still not given, you should flag the project and report the issue.  Please leave a link to your original project, if it's not given in the remix history.

Woah Penguin, don't shout at me; I was rebutting what someone else said, saying that "people have a right to use your sprites". I was just suggesting a different scenario to suggest it's not a right, but a privilege to be asked for.

No, Scratch is Creative Commons.

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

Anything posted on the Scratch Website, so long as it isn't Legally Copyrighted, is not technically 'yours.' anyone on the site has every right to use or manipulate it, as long as they give credit to the original creator in the project notes.
