Hi!  Welcome to the forums. The scratch forums are a really great place to ask questions about scratch, advertise your stuff, introduce yourself or have fun! Here are some of the most useful forums, and what they are:

Announcements: Annoucements of new stuff in scratch, such as new releases. You cannot post a new topic here
New Scratch Members: Get tips if you're new here, or post tips for new members
Show and Tell: Advertise your projects and galleries here, participate in a contest, join a critique group, or look at other people's stuff.
FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions. Before you post a topic asking a question, see if has already been answered in FAQ. Note: You cannot post a new topic here unless you are on the scratch team
All about Scratch: Ask any question you need to here, as long as it's related to scratch
Advanced Topics: Ask a question here if you have an advanced question, or want a more advanced answer
Suggestions: Suggest changes to the scratch program or webiste
Troubleshooting: If you think you found a bug, post a topic here to see what can be done
Scratch in other languages: You can post in your native language here to ask questions ect.
Inspiration and More: Post topics here if they aren't directly related to scratch, are inspied by scratch, or could inspire others. It's now split into four different sections for easier orginization.
Text-based Games: Is closed to new posts. They used to be games on the forum but were moved to another website.

Why are some topics highlighted blue?
Topics highlighted blue arre topics that have been posted on since your last visit.

What is a sticky?
Stickies are usually informational notes or helpful posts that have been selected by the scratch team.

How do I post a new topic?
Click on Post New Topic on the upper right of the page

How do I make a signature?
Only members who have been on scratch for more than 15 days can have a signature. To make one, click on profile (at the top) then personality (on the left)

What is spamming?
Spamming is posting a message in a topic that is completely unrelated to all the other posts. It is very annoying and highly discouraged.

How do I make text effects and links?
