Scratch

I have made a very interesting comparison with Scratch and the presidential campaign. When a Scratcher gets a project on the front page, they receive more views on other projects as well. Therefore their next projects have a very high chance of getting on the front page again.

I have found this to be very similiar to the primaries. Momentum is very important in the election. That is why Iowa was so important to all the candidates. Once a candidate wins one state, they receive momentum and go on the next state having a higher chance of winning that, too. For example, Obama has now won 10 states in a row.
