Obsidian gazed at the full moon from a cliff. The night was chilly, but Obsidian didn't feel cold. His body was the same temperature as the rock under him. His stone-like skin touched the ground and seemed to completely connect with the earth. It made him comfortable - he felt one with the rocky cliff he was perched on. The gargoyle spread its wings and jumped into the air, the thick rock wings carrying him magically.
