It could be that those affected by 9-11 do not feel comfortable about talking about it openly here on the Scratch forums and may prefer to talk it over with loved ones instead. It was (and for many people, still is) a harrowing memory.
Likewise, for those who haven't been greatly affected by 9-11, it may not be something they are able to talk about.
I do remember it though (I'm from New York City and I was in school when it occurred). I recall the entire school being under a semi-extreme lock-down because of it. Some of my classmates even saw the buildings go down because the classroom window was a direct view of the Twin Towers skyline. That day was... dark and chaotic.

Here on Chile, a dictator attacked the gobernamental palace of La Moneda on September 11, on the 70's. What a coincidence.

2 power surges in 9/11/09. One force restarted my desktop. One forced it to shut down while I was making a game and I didn't save! The second one erased my account.

oh my while thousands of people are dying one person is so selfish and inconsiderate that he can only feel that his computer having problems is more important than all those lost lives!

I never even heard of this until like a month after it happened
I didn't really watch the news or anything back then

I was little, but that was the day that my sister had her biggest temper tantrum ever. We even have a video, and in the video, news of 9-11 was blazing in the background as she pounded her fists and cried.

I was really young at the time, so I don't remember it now. But I was told that I drew a picture of a burning building, so I guess I knew for a bit.
