Scratch

It's for both, and it's the community who made it for game making. But yes, it is weird to see some kinda pointless announcement thing hitting front page...

Scratch is for programming, and people can program whatever they want. They need to program a script in order for their animation to work.

Sure, people are allowed to make whatever they want. I am COMPLETELY ok with people making announcements and stuff.

But there's no need for them to make the front page. The front page is for good projects that people work HARD on. there are some REALLY good projects out there that aren't getting noticed because of stupid anouncements making the front page.

I think that a project about how you got hacked should not be on the front page, although it is one of the top viewed.

I think it should go back to you project can be top loved and top viewed at the same time, which helped quality control it a little. I also liked Top downloaded.

besides being able to make people force-download your project, the most downloaded are usally something complicated that people want to look at (or is very slow)

That's why they took out top-downloaded...

But it's not fair really, i nearly got on top downloaded for something i worked hard on
