"Version Labels" on old projects

So far, only 1.3 and 1.4 projects are labeled for their version.

Everything older than 1.3 just doesn't have a tag. I think old projects should be labeled to. Here is what they would look like:

Re: "Version Labels" on old projects

Great idea, but the only reason they have 1.3 and 1.4 projects labelled is because you can't open them in previous versions of Scratch.

I think that's a great idea!  They should definitely do that.

Illusionist, you must have too much time on your hands. You can do all the editing you like.  smile

I like the idea, even though it's not strictly neccessary. But for your future ideas for colors, I actually had a similar idea... which means I like it!

Re: "Version Labels" on old projects

Normally I would have said "It's not neccessary" (I often say this in the Suggestions), but there is something good about this. When you view old projects, you actually know what version of Scratch it was made in. This can also give you an idea about what blocks were not used to make a project (because Scratch gets more blocks through the versions).

Awesome idea!  smile

Yeah, but labels may help before someone who has Scratch 1.5 opens a project made with 1.6...

Re: "Version Labels" on old projects

Good idea! I like how it is labled, but we should be able to see if projects have been made in older versions on scratch 1.0, 1.1 ... nice idea  wink
