Limit to smileys etc.

I have already done this but produced no results because I could not find a project with it on here is my proof

I copied them from a word program such as Microsoft Word and pasted them over here.

There are a lot of "dingbat" characters in unicode that you may be able to paste into the website (on the Mac, you can bring up the Character Palette by clicking on Special Characters under the edit menu of the finder).
Firefox doesn't seem to accept the "insert" action from the Character Palette, though, so I usually have to go through another program (like pages) to get a special character, then cut and paste into the browser.
