hopefully this will enlighten some on the challenge of making split screen games for platformers
layer 1: the background/stage
layer 2: the top screen platforms
layer 3: top screen player & fake bottom screen player
layer 4: bottom screen background (made as a sprite, ONLY for the bottom screen)
layer 5: bottom screen platforms
layer 6: bottom screen player & fake top screen player
I won't go into coding this because if you don't know how to code a scrolling platformer then you shouldn't be coding this

I don't think he has to make it any more clear. If you understand how to make scrolling with 1 screen then this is the same thing done twice. Its very simple if you understand the code.

no, no, it's like split screen platformer games where it's two player, where there's one player on the top screen and another on the bottom
