If the sun became a black hole, we would not get sucked in. This is why:
The sun keeps us in orbit because it has exactly the right mass. If it turned in to a black hole, as long as it had the same mass, we would not get sucked in.
Nevertheless, we would still die from lack of heat and light.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, most people think that black holes just take things in. They don't. They also expel things. The reason why is simple: black holes can't decompose things. And even if they could, they'd still need to expel waste, just as we humans do.

Actually, the Sun will soon be replaced by another star after it dies. Oh, and the sun won't go supernova and then into a black hole, but it'll just fade away.

your right, the supernova from it transforming into a black hole would blow us up, secondly black holes are super compressed, which increases their gravity pull for a certain radius, over a certain distance it would be as strong as our sun, but from the distance to it from earth, we'd probably get sucked in, oh and black holes expand when they take things in, so they would probably not spit you out, and if they did you'd already be dead

well no matter, humans won't even exist (probably) when it happens. We'll wipe ourselves out the way we're going, the planet will become a toxic wasteland from all of our garbage, pollution, and nuclear weapons. And the USA will probably be nuked, what with all of their enemies.

Nice attitude! (Though I completely agree with you)

Everyone this time right now, yes EVERYONE even me, would be dead before the sun becomes a black hole. It would happen in a billion years. Nothing to worry about now.

As for sun, at it's end, it will grow so big that it will "eat" Mercury, Venus and possibly Earth. Then, it will collapse creating very small white star. Of course, planets in way of growing will be destroyed (I mean, Sun is so hot that stones will be easily converted to gas...)

It'll turn earth into a giant fireball, actually.

It'll actually go all the way up to jupiter. Then, yeah it'll shrink and burn up. Then all the rest of the planets become floating iceburgs until a new sun is born or comes along. (we all know how that will happen)
