Pen-Eraser
I've seen many people suggest this and I would just like to share what I do instead.
1.when you give a choice of selecting the eraser, set the pen color to your background color and you are basically done....I hope. That's just the way I do it.

some backgrounds have more than one color.

Good idea!
Out of my fifteen projects, I've never ever used pen. But I still know how to use it well.
