how do you compress a song?!
its over the 10MB limit, and i need to know how to compress it, please!!!
and yes, i have tried the 'compress sounds and images' upon sharing. not working.
help please! thx

Go to the Edit menu and press "compress sounds". Remember, the lower the quality the smaller the sound will be.
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

the way I do it, when you put your username and password in, before you upload your project, there should be a little check box under the tags. next to it it says compress sound and images. if it's checked, it should be compressed. the edit menu is just the thing at the top of the screen that says edit. if you mouse over it,it will give you options. one of them is compress sound. It doesn't really have anything to do with the sound file itself.
