Uninstall

I don't know whether this is supposed to be in troubleshooting but ah well.. Ok, my question follows: How to uninstall scratch on Linux?

To delete from /Applications, type this into Terminal:
sudo rm -rf /Applications/Scra*

Its still there. I'm using ubuntu 9.04. It says access denied when i try to delete it from usr/share/scratch.
