.wav

I downloaded I MIDI file from the web and it didn't work for scratch so I downloaded a .wav version of the file, I went to import it to scratch it showed on the select screen, but then it sayed unotherized file formatt. what should I do to make it work?

Try opening the sound in a sound editor and converting it to another format. If you don't have a sound editor, I recommend Audacity. You can download it at http://www.download.com/
