I have seen a lot of teams quit or die off and I don't want to run the competition anymore really. I have other things to do and no one is really working anymore. If you want the competition then just copy the first forum post of the competition and change it. Also make a gallery for the projects. I don't think I am making a Winter one either. This competition is just falling apart. This is what happens if run a competition that is online and world wide. It was working for a week or two but it just died off. I am just going to go back to making projects and not running a competition. Sorry to all but if no one is going to work on there projects and with their team then I am not going to waste my time running a dead competition.

Well that is people on scratch for you. Good at hyping things up and talking about things but when it comes to actually doing things it falls apart, every time, especially when groups of people are involved. It could have worked it you made it last a week or 2.

what! no, I've been away on vacation! same with a lot of people. August is a month where a lot of people try to do their last bit of traveling before the end of summer. just have it in june or july next year.

Um... How about nobody RUNS the competition, we all just make our projects, and leave it to the judges to judge?

And if there are any questions in the main forum... then someone can go answer it...

Yeah...Scratch contests flop...I remember I once had an "Ultimate Project Invitational" where I judged based on effort, the gallery even got featured, but I abandoned it (there were like 150 projects; no way could I judge all of them).

the only problem is that some of the judges have died out also. I was going to be a judge, but i am extremely busy lately, and with school starting very soon, that will allow even less time, so i'm pretty much out of the whole thing now. I dont have the time to judge, sorry. hope you can find more judges and carry on with the scratch olympics successfully

little does archmage know that im done all of the levels and working on the boss fight, that still leaves some coding for him though, i dont have too much time, schools starting for me soon.
also you CANT close hte olympics, my scratch bash project needs to get some more views and when it wins it will be viewed more! lol nah im not really that confident, IF it wins that could be quite helpful, its the last of the series after all.
