The Basics: Basic Menus (Using Broadcasts)

I also wanted to make a menu when i first started scratch, and when i tried to find out how do it, i went CRAZY...it was to hard.

Know this is how to make a menu:

1. Create a new sprite, and draw it as a start button

2. Add this Script: (When Clicked: Broadcast- Start)

3. Now This: (When I Receive Start: Hide)

4. Now Got to the Stage. Make 2 Backgrounds. Make the first blue, and the next green. Now Call the first: menu, and the second: game.

5. On the Stage Scripts Make this Script: (When I Receive Start: Switch to Background game)

6. Now Add this under it: (When Green Flag Pressed: Switch to Background Menu)

7. TA-DA! Test it out. Now when you click the start button, the button hides and the screen changes!
