As long as text eating zombies don't devour the brains of that hyper text we should be good with this system.

That's a nice selection of topics you've got there .
Here's a BBCode topic. I know that there's already one, but it doesn't include all of the tips and tricks. Could you check it out? All you need to know about BBCode.

Its nice to see that the mods are taking into consideration/using suggestions that other scratch users have. You should do one in the New Scratch Members, too.

Well, this topic was created because the 'All About Scratch' forums was becoming too overcrowded with sticky threads (hence why this thread was created to prevent too many sticky threads from overwhelming the front page and asking users to requests threads to suggest useful threads here instead of having all useful threads stickied).
Curious, do you happen to have a suggestion for a sticky in the 'New Scratch Members' section in mind?

You'll need both image tags and url tags, plus the website address of the picture and the website address you want the picture to link to. For example, my signature contains a picture that, when clicked, goes to my Scratch profile page.
The website address of the image is
http://i319.photobucket.com/albums/mm470/nefermaatkare/cheddars_Siggy_Halloween.jpg
The website address I want the image to link to is
http://scratch.mit.edu/users/cheddargirl
The tags to create an image is
[img][/img]
and the tags to create a link is
[url=websiteaddress][/url]
All that needs to be done is to put the two together. So first we make an image:
[img]http://i319.photobucket.com/albums/mm470/nefermaatkare/cheddars_Siggy_Halloween.jpg[/img]
To make the picture a link, we just add the url tags around it:
[url=http://scratch.mit.edu/users/cheddargirl][img]http://i319.photobucket.com/albums/mm470/nefermaatkare/cheddars_Siggy_Halloween.jpg[/img][/url]
And that's how I get a picture with a link.
I think Jonathan's thread (All you need to know about BBCode) goes into this as well.

Hello cassidoggy, please do not doublepost pointlessly just for someone to see a post you made, it could be considered as spam. Instead, please wait.
Thankiez.

Do we have some special tricks in forums like Cheatcodes in games? I think it will make forums more interesting.
No, whatever is in the links talking about BBCode is pretty much just it. No secrets hidden around here. ^^

I noticed that you've renamed the stickies! I like it: POST IT! PROGRAM IT! FIND IT! USE IT! Very nice and it stands out.

Well, 'FIND IT!' is an original title. I decided to follow the same suit with the other titles because the old ones seem too plain and boring. Thanks, glad you like the new title names

Yes. That is a good idea. There were like 10 stickies! Now, most of them are in the ... IT topics. That way, we could also add more helpful topics without crowding the stickies!
