An ASCII picture is one that depicts something using only the characters found on an old style typewriter or Teletype machine!
There are basically two versions; One in which a very small number of characters are very cleverly arranged to look like something... >^..^< ...like a cat...
Or an image that uses thousands of characters to render a photograph.
Asciiizer is a program to do the latter.
You have to select a photograph, then convert it to a 16 color Grey Scale Image with some application other than scratch, then Import it to The Images Sprite.
Then hit the green flag.
Sandi will walk you through all the things you have to do to make it work.
Then it scans your image and stores it on a list, so that each line of the image is one item on the list, Making the list VERY Big...!
So that when it's done, and you then recall The List to the Viewing area, it may take a few seconds to come up.
Then you Export it to your computer, and view it with a Text Processing Application.
You may want to reduce the spacing between the lines to like .5 or .4 to make it look it's best...!
Any Problems; Tell your mother first, then me.
