I've noticed projects appearing twice aswell.

i have noticed the same problem continuing with the front page. the recently featured project hurricane report 1 was on the featured projects list and 2nd on the top viewed list. I got a hint from the scratch design studio, and I'm thinking the scratch front page is in for some major re-doing. Either that, or some major fixing if the scratch team really wants to keep the 1 project per person on the front page rule. good luck, and i hope you can fix the problem.

Yes... nikkiperson2 has 2 projects on front page now.

hate to say it, but it keeps happening. the latest featured project, rainbow galaxy, is also 2nd in the top loved category.

Nowhere does it say that a person can't get featured more than once...it just says that people shouldn't propose projects from authors that have already been on the Front Page.  The Scratch Team reserves the right to feature any project and author that they feel would be of interest to the Scratch Community. 

An effort is made to feature projects from authors that are relatively unknown but there are many factors that go into the selection process and that is just one aspect.

what he's trying to say is that in the "Propose projects for featured" topic, the projects that are proposed to be featured cannot be on the front page before. It's the scratch team's decision to feature any project they want to regardless of how many times it has been on the front page, or the user who made the project, ect.
They don't have to use the projects that are on the proposed featured list. hope you understand what i'm trying to say
