Re: GIFs dont import right

I haven't used animated gifs, but usually importing one will result in multiple costumes for the sprite.  To animate it, you need a script:

when greenflag clicked
forever
     next costume
     wait 0.1 secs

Re: GIFs dont import right

Obviously, some animated GIFs import normally, but some only as one costume. I have a whole collection of them, most of them from one website, and they usually don't import as they should.
What you can do is download a program that can open animated GIFs, copy each frame and post them in seperate images.
For more information on where to download these programs, visit this topic, there are some posts with download links: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=1939

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

I found a site that splits my GIFs, so I don't need to download anything. Thansk though.
