what versions are scratch compatible on?

i have a Mac OSX Version 10.5. I downloaded Scratch and can use it, but every time i try to share a project, my computer crashes. I am told that this means that Scratch is not compatible on my version of computer. can you make the next version of scratch compatible for the latest versions of computers?

funkymonkey, I read your comment, but not having a brand-new version 10.5 mac, I have no way of testing whether it crashes when sharing.  Perhaps someone else who does have the latest operating system could check for you, but there aren't that many users of the latest system yet.
