Re: Spriting Workshop!

Good! It looks like a lot of people are starting to work on their fusions!

Also,@djm111: can you rate shiftricolo instead of pichursa? I didn't make pichursa for the contest, because it was a quick one that I just did for the tut. Also, I like shiftricolo better bcause he is part ludicolo (fave poke)and overall, it kicks pichursa's tiny ***

And about the battle, only two guys on my team are level 100: DD Ttar and a SD Weavile.

Re: Spriting Workshop!

Oh and I'm thinking that I should make a tutorial on either reposing or how to make sprites by yourself.

Sorry for triple posting  sad

No, thats a good idea. And I will rate Shiftricolo.
We could just do the battle mode where it automatically sets all pokemon down to level 50, btw.

Thats actually really good.
Solrock's spikes work really well, because they look like ice horns, and where they attach to the body looks really well done too.

EDIT: I found this splice I'd done before lying around and couldnt be bothered to make a newer one.

Re: Spriting Workshop!

Uh, nice job guys! I had a bunch of better fusions, but I deleted them ages ago (scizor/latios, rayquaza/mew2, sneasel/gabite, masquerain/magnezone, and then a crazy fusion of magnemite, pidgey, yanma, and celebi. Also more, can't really think of any now)

Re: Spriting Workshop!

I don't think this thread is limited to Pokemon sprites alone, right?

I'm sorry if I'm throwing everyone off-course in this thread, but I'd appreciate it if someone rated this sprite for me.

Little fusion image of Yami Yugi as the Black Luster Soldier JUS sprites, inspired from a Yu-Gi-Oh! episode. I would appreciate any criticism you have (something about the helmet seems... off. I can't quite put my finger on it. Or maybe it's just me  tongue ).

Yes, you are absolutely right, this thread is not limited to just pokefusions and no, you are not throwing anyone off course.

And about the fusion.... It's okay, but there's something wrong.  I can't quite put my finger on it either.

Ah, at least now I know it's not just me being overly critical on my work.  tongue

Maybe someone else can find out what's wrong?

It sounds funny but... I'd like a few. A slice of blueberry pie, and a blueberry pie. I can't draw at all!

I used to be an amateur spriter, and I used this 256-color palette for my sprites:

And it was really useful - you guys should try it too.

Thanks for that techno! Really helpful  smile

I have used this program a couple of times now and I find it to be perfect for spriting.

http://www.humanbalance.net/gale/us/

It's basically a image editor which is great for this sort of thing. You can zoom in to 3200% and it has a really helpful grid for spriting. It has a very simple colour palette and I think it will help a lot of you. And its free  smile

I used this to make "mini-writing". I wanted to see if I could do a tutorial on it.
