Freedom of Religion

alright you've probably all noticed that there have been some suppport certain religion things going on in the forums and here's my view on this:
i don't care what religion people are, really it doesn't make a difference at all, religion causes so many problems with war betwen nations that have different belief systems, i mean look at the crusades. it also has some good things, some churches tell you to be kind to one another and to be equals and tolerate other religions.  so the reason i started this was to say that this is what I believe in!

I believe in being kind to one another
I believe in freedom
I believe in Equality

and if you do too show your support!

The contention begins when one religion worms it's way into government and begins to force its religious beliefs on the entire population.

Things like not working on a particular day of the week, not giving the same rights to couples of the same gender as to mixed couples, stem cell research, abortion, education. 

Contentious, important issues in which the undue influence of one religion has forced or attempted to force its religious views upon others by manipulation of the government.

Freedom of Religion should include freedom FROM religion for those that wish it.

i agree with all of those statements, and im glad where i live religion and government do not mix, you can see it throughout history and all it does is oppress the people.

im talking about freedom of choice and addressing the posts that have sprung up in the scratch forums, therefore this topic is related to scratch.  i wasnt even talking about religion just freedom of choice and freedom of religion.
