random gallery bookmarking

okay, this is wierd, and it's happening to a lot of other people too. for some reason, the galleries, "find gary the gadget guy now" and "cool user club" are showing up on peoples "bookmarked" lists for no reason. could someone fix this?

Are you sure they are showing up as Bookmarked?  Maybe they are showing up in the list of galleries that appears in your My Stuff area (before you click on See More)?  I can see where a gallery would show up in Contains my Project and, maybe, then it could show up in your My Stuff listing.  I don't really understand how the galleries that appear on the My Stuff page are selected, but I'm guessing that it can pick from any of the different categories "Created by Me", "Bookmarked", "Contains my Project", etc.

The one I'm complaining about shows up in my list, then if you click "bookmarked" it shows again.  So, it looks like I bookmarked it.  But, seriously, I've never bookmarked a gallery.  In fact, I'd never even gone to that gallery before it showed up in my list.

It happened again today.  Another gallery was randomly bookmarked by me.  I'd never been to the gallery, so I deleted it.

It has happened to me also. two of the 3 galleries are yours Paddle2see. Relaxing projects, and Planet projects. I have no idea how they got bookmarked. I never bookmarked any gallery. I didn't delete any of them, so take a look and see if you can find the problem.

Thanks -db- !  That tells me what I need to know.  It looks like if I have a gallery that is set so that "All My Friends" can add projects and I add you as a friend, that gallery will show up as Bookmarked for you.  Looks like a bug to me, I would think that a gallery like that would simply show up as "Others Shared with Me". 

I have submitted this issue to the bug list for resolution.

yep, that sounds right. the other gallery is also owned by a person who added me as a friend. Seems wierd that it automatically bookmarks it even if you didn't bookmark it yourself, or there are none of your projects there.

I have verified the problem and written up a bug report for it.  No word yet on when it will be fixed.  Go ahead and delete them if they are bothering you.
