Scratch

I don't think there's a virus, you turned the monitor on and off, but what about the computer. Just restart it, and everything should be fine.

You can't get a virus form a Scratch project unless someone edited the project with notepad or something

My computer has done that before. I was lucky and got it to do a safe shutdown. It happens to me when the graphics card can't cope with the program. Even my screen saver caused it to happen on a number of occasions. Hears how to get out of it.

You must refresh the graphics ie. make the computer change every pixel on the screen all at once

note: if the mouse shows only it's most likely your graphics card so your computer is working fine

If you Ctrl Alt Delete and you remember where task manager shows up and where the shutdown tab you can click on the shutdown tab.

or you can click on the start button then click turn off the computer than shutdown in the middle of the screen (it's hard to find but it works).

It also works if you log off from your account.As login off changes every pixel on the screen. this is the best way as you don't lose any data. do the same thing as above but try to find the log off tab.

The other way to know that it's your graphics card and not a virus is to try and put your cursor over a textbox or a hyperlink to see if it changes (even though you can't see the textbox or hyperlink it will work as it's the location of the mouse that the computer uses to see if the cursor needs to change)

Well... it's kinda impossible to get a virus from Scratch.... My antivirus was off. Nothing happened to my computer. xD

I had a quick virus scan last night, everything is clean.

It is impossible, unless you edit stuff on Notepad.

What were you doing with the antivirus off? Shouldn't you have had it on when you tried to download the project?

EDIT: I notice that you visited the 'virus' project topic mentioned in the All About Scratch. There was one downloader on that project... was that you again?
