Re: Hello (looking for introduction page)

Hi beckyweb,

welcome to Scratch! There are a lot of documents that can get you started in creating Scratch projects. You will find most of these by visiting the 'support' pages: http://scratch.wik.is/Support . Another good way to get started is to browse through the featured projects or to have a look at the projects in some of the galleries, download one which you particularly like, open it in Scratch and see how it was done. An excellent idea for a first project is to animate the letters of your name.

Have fun!

P.S. I moved this post to the 'All About Scratch' section and I'd like to ask you to remove any links from your signature that are just advertising non-Scratch related commercial sites. I think it's okay to link to personal sites, but commercial ads with no personal relevance might be considered inappropriate in an educational environment such as Scratch. Thanks!

What a coincidence.

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>
