Not Showing Up

When i upload projects lately, it shows up on my user, and says it has uploaded, yet it never shows up in the Newest Projects!! Help!!! My projects have gotten almost no views lately!!

Butterflies make the world go 'round. Or was it rainbows?
Two things are eternal: The universe and butterflies. And I'm not sure about the universe.

I have heard other reports of this, and I first I though it was just users exaggerating, after all, lots of projects are posted these days. But I think you are right. There is another possibility though. Maybe since there are so many posts in a day, the website puts your project on a "waiting" list. So later in the day when every project has had a fair turn, it shows the other projects including yours. But that is just guess work, I don't have a shred of evidence that it is what actually happens, it just seems like a sensible thing to do.  smile

Because of performance problems with the server, the Newest Projects feature now just shows a snapshot every time the Front Page is regenerated - which may be only once every half hour or hour (I'm not sure what the cycle time is).  So I'm sorry to say that not all projects get guaranteed Front Page exposure any more.  It's just luck whether your project makes it there.

the newest projects are now cached so it updates every 5 minutes so some people get a long time and some people dont get anytime ! sad  I think it should be removed but it keeps its preformance levels up
