**PLEASE READ ADMINS** ideas forsome new blocks!!

The Variable Display (in the paint sprites box).    Well I was wondering about how you guys have the variable blocks, and it says slider, normal, and large print. Well I was wondering if when you paint your sprite then one of the options in the paint window is a variables one. And what this does is when your variable equals a certain amount then it will display it where you put the "variable display" on your sprite. this helps with custom variable things. Instead of having to make a different costume for each possible number. And then programming it so that if it the variable equals a certain amout then it goes to a certain costume.

I hope this helps in your next update--Pippintoon

I'm sorry, pippintoon, I couldn't quite figure out what you were suggesting.  Could you try again?

No problem. Ok well you know the paint box for the sprites. The one when you click draw new sprite the "paint box" pops up? Well in that box there are tools such as the fill in tool, the line tool, the eraser, etc. Well im suggesting that you make another tool. Called the "Varibale Display Tool". Well what this tool does is instead of having to make seperates costumes for each possible number or letter. This tool allows you to show the variable number. Like you guys have the different varibale boxes right? Well this allows you to take your OWN drawing or variable box. And put the numbers in your drawing.

Ah, so you are asking for a way to make your own variable displays, and suggesting that the costume editor could include a tool, like the text tool, but which has the value of a variable rather than fixed text.  It's an interesting idea—I wonder how difficult it would be to implement.

A nice idea.  Additional options on formatting the existing variable display would go a long way toward doing what pippin is asking for.  If you could specify just text (with no border around it) and choose either black text or white, I'd be pretty pleased.  This probably wouldn't be very  hard for the developers to implement in a future release.

yah. And maybe when you use this tool. A drop down list asks which variable you want to use.
