Is it just me? Or did they Re-Do Scratch?
I noticed that now(on my computer) projects, friends, and gallery list vertically rather than horizontally, is that a bug or did this happen to everyone, answer back!?

It is ok, but I wish it would at least say the real number of friends (it doesn't have to show them all, just say how many there are).

Ya, I think they changed it for everyone. It shows your five first friends, 5 gallerys, 9 projects, and 9 favorites on the front. I think it may be to test something or to reduce loading time because some people with really long friends lists takes a long time to load.

i noticed the same thing too, and now you can't sort your projects into recently added, alphabetical, ect. also in the galleries the comments are limited to ten per page and there is a message above each of them.
No signature currently stored in profile.

Not being able to sort the galleries is going to cause maintenance problems for me. I sometimes look through the tags "math" and "names" to find projects that belong in Math Projects and Names Gallery, but I can't remember all the projects that are already there, so I need to know when I've gotten back to the point where I last did a sweep.
Of course, if they provided better search capabilities, so I could look for projects with the "math" tag, but not in "Math Projects", it would be *easy* for me to find projects to add, instead of very difficult and tedious.

The changes were reverted. Everything should be back as it used to be.
first goal is to improve loading time of the pages and make things easy to use. One of the most important changes was the ability to use AJAX pagination on different sections of the site which improves the loading time of pages when browsing projects.
We are going to work on some of your suggestions and let you help us test and give feedback on a separate experimental site. More info later...

good goal, because when i go on, for example, MyRedNeptunes page, it takes a looong time to load. i think it was a good idea to try and minimize loading time. i hadnt realized what the good things about the new setup of the website were. but if you re-do it again, maybe you should allow more posts on a gallery page then the amount before. it is a little annoying to have to switch pages if you missed peoples posts on other pages.

Too bad, I liked it, except for the friends. Things did run much faster, especially galleries with a lot of comments, and, as funkymonkey says, pages like MyRedNeptune's.
Oh well... I suppose many people will be happy.

Robin7, I think that they will be making a lot of the changes that they tried out over the weekend, after they work out a few of the problems that irritated people. They are interested in getting faster response time also, as they would otherwise need to get more computers and more bandwidth to run the server.
