I know that Jens posted a project that shows how to create your own block in Scratch. I started thinking, and I may have a good idea for a program related to Scratch that lets Scratchers create there own blocks in a way that is a little more Scratch-Friendly (alternative in place of Squeak, for younger Scratchers)! Here's a little bit more put into detail:
Scratcher's will be able to choose a block category. After that, you will be able to choose qualities or characteristics from a long list; You can have unlimited amounts. After that, you can name your block. When done, you will be able to save and then upload your block into Scratch.
This new idea for a program could be built into Scratch, rather than becoming a completely different program itself, or kept the way it is a separate program, if Scratch becomes to large.
Please leave any suggestions Scratchers!
And to the Scratch Team - Please tell me what you think of this idea and if you will consider it.
Thank you and,
SCRATCH ON!
