Problems saving and uploading projects.
I'm having troubles saving and uploading projects. when i try to save it, this error comes up:
Then, i tried to upload it to the website without saving it, and this error comes up:
Please help! I don't want to lose my whole project. thanks

Have you tried saving to the Desktop? That's shouldn't give you any permission problems.
As for the upload issue...you can work around that by unchecking the "Compress sounds and images" option on the Share screen.

thanks, i tried to save it multiple times, but it didnt work at all. i tried saving to desktop, my documents, even drive C. none of them worked. then i tried to go back again and save it with my projects as a last effort, and somehow it saved.
and for the uploading problem, that check box seemed to work. thanks a lot.

Well, that sounds really annoying. Maybe you had some kind of strange character in the project name that the operating system objected to?

your on the scratch team? i have a windows xp computer and it is saying when i save it to my documents that when i opened a file and saved it with a diffrent name i wouldn't let me and when i tried to name it the same thing origonaly i said trying to rename with a .sb at the end and asked cancel or delete old version over and over again until i hit cancel. plz he;p thnx in advanced

hmmm... 
I just had the same saving problem. When I try to save it to the desktop a file is there (named tmp0, which is not what I typed in as a name when I saved it.) with 630KB of stuff in it, but I can't open it!

Now it works! 
It must be some sort of temporary problem.
