odd one out

book banana apple bill
apple sheep bubble cake
sweet sugar candy spicy
bird dog elephant tree
run happy fun artistic
dog log bod frog
lemon blue evil electric
chicken kid dog orange

those are some puzzles. you have to figure out the odd word out. the one that is different than the others:
eg.
blue red yellow cake
CAKE is the odd one out cuz it isnt a color. that one was easy. some of them are hard.

try and solve mine or make your own!

sheep (it is living)
spicy (different flavor)
tree (it is a plant)
run (not a characteristic of a person)
bod (it doesn't have the -og ending)
evil (not sure, just guessing)
orange (not living organism

(1) apple - It doesn't start with b
(2) bubble - only non-edible
(3) candy - starts with c
(4) tree - not animal
(5) run - action
(6) bod - no og
(7) lemon - fruit
(8) orange - not animal

Okay I'm stumped so I'm just gonna take a wild guess.
e=5
i=9
o=15
u=21
Could it be e because it is the only letter that is not divisible by three?

Nobody answered mine so I'll repeat it.

No, it's U because that's the only one that can't be flipped horizontally and still be the same shape

Oh... I over thought it. Don't you mean vertically though. Anyway, could you answer my "odd one out"?

I was thinking Java. Just Basic is a downgraded Liberty Basic. So all of them but Java were programming languages in basic.

That's a good thought! I guess I'd better keep mine simple with one answer, because I used my over thinking method  big_smile  . What I thought was c = 3 and x = 23; they are exact opposites in the alphabet. Same thing with h and r h = 6 and r = 18. The only letter without an opposite is t. But your answer was better than mine!  smile

That works but not what I was thinking of.
1088 because it is not a square number.
6561 = 81*81
256 = 16*16
16 = 4*4
