Getting a scratch file as your status

I've been trying to do this for some time now, but when ever I try, it always says file is too large to upload.  Does this just have to do with my computer's memory space, or the memory space of the picture spot?

It means the file is too large for the avatar's memory space. Try sizing down the file or Trying a different image. ^^

PNG files usually work well.  Size them so that they are quite small (under 100k).

Re: Getting a scratch file as your status

Are you trying to load a project with moving pictures as your Scratch icon?  That can't be done directly...you would have to use a program to capture the moving image on your screen and convert it to an animated GIF format.

If you are trying to load a simple picture made by a Scratch project, that is simpler.  You can save an image of the stage by right-clicking on it, it will save it as a GIF file.  You can try uploading that or use an image editor like Paint.net to convert it to a PNG file.
