Re: Team Eiré

I'll start work on the turn-based RPG sprite(s).  Should we use the knight, archer, mage, or all three?

Re: Team Eiré

Here is the swordsman sprite: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/IrishArcher/634665  It has some basic controls, but it should be easy enough to convert it to turn-based.

Re: Team Eiré

Ok, changed my mind i have no Idea what I'm doing now, I was planning to make a tables game like 1+1 but it would take way too long to make the costumes of the numbers. But I have the menus done so if anyone wants to continue making it just let me know and ill post it up so you can remix it.  11alex do know what I can do???  hmm

Re: Team Eiré

Swordsman Terrain

I added the terrain sprite to the swordsman.  It can be either scrolling or regular, but I'm not sure which one we should use.

And Berry, I can make the number costumes if you want.  Can you describe what they should look like?

Hi SmartIrishkid, it's okay lol I think I can make them it will just take a while you dont have to do them all Ill do some unless you want to do them all yourself.  You see I'm doing up to 12+ 12- 12x and 12 devide and could take a while if you did them on your own so would you like to do half and half? You can choose what ones you want to do like plus, minus, multipication and division I dont mind which ones you pick. You can pick 2 so its equal  smile

Re: Team Eiré

All right, I'll do multiplication and division.  But wait, won't it take even longer to combine the projects once we're both done?

As for the team in general, my current submissions are Gravity Tutorial (best educational) and Codemaster 2 (best overall).  And the turn-based RPG can be our collaborative project.  Should we call it Glasclaíomh or just Greensword?

Make sure that everybody else isn't doing RPGs first.

And I kind of doubt that statement.

I don't doubt it. RPGs can be very complex... when done correctly. No one on this site has done one correctly.

Re: Team Eiré

Here are the multiplication and division signs if you need them:

Code:

× ÷

So...does anyone know how a turn-based program would work?  I could probably figure it out myself, but I'll need to spend an hour or two on each enemy sprite beforehand (72 costumes each!)
