I am getting messages on the scratch software that pop up a pink box with the following:
(Message Not Understood: Map Reciever :To:)
with that its has a long list of errors, then it says: Proceed,Abandoned,Debug
I just wanted to let you know i was not sure if i am suppose to be getting that! And when i click on proceed it does not let me proceed all i was doing is selecting a sprite !

Lanie624, you're not supposed to be getting that message, it's a bug in Scratch, but it's problably not going to break your project. To go on just close the message (press the x in the upper left corner of the pink box) or select 'abandon'.
Did you get this error message in a project you created or in one which you downloaded? I got the exact same error when I tried to import a sprite with deprecated comment blocks from a project created in v1.2-BETA.

Hmm, that's really strange. Maybe there's something wrong with the Scratch image file (although that's unlikely). Why don't you try reinstalling Scratch (you don't have to uninstall it first).

For the interest, That debug box that you saw was something to program in with "Squeak". If you ever get another box like that again, do what Jens said and click on the x. Do NOT modify the coding, for you may effect the program. If you do not do disturb the coding, your project will be fine. It's just a simple glitch.
