I have heard of a teaching program called HSSP, and I am very interested in taking classes there for computer science. Does anyone from MIT or Scratchers know anything more about this?
Some of my questions:
Will there be any MIT students that work with Scratch be teaching?
How many 7th-12th graders will there be approximately going?

The MIT ESP's program looks pretty cool. I know another grad student who taught a class on web development there.
We are not planning to teach Scratch in that program this time, maybe on another occasion.Someone from our group is planing to run a Scratch apprenticeship with a program called Citizen School but that's for middle schoolers.. Last year I ran one with Citizen Schools as well.
If you live in the Boston area you should try to enroll in one of the HSSP classes, I would be surprised if they don't have a programming class.
For more questions about that program you should contact them directly: http://esp.mit.edu/
