well, after seeing how scattered the suggestions, I decided to make a warehouse of suggestions to make it easier for them to see them.
Use default style to reduce lag-Smartirishkid
One idea to reduce lag: Let Scratch automatically use the default style of the computer, and then the file won't use so much memory.
For example: Windows users would view the Scratch program, particularly the Import/Save/Open toolbars, with the regular Explorer style. This would help lag in several other ways, because you could turn off thumbnails.

classes should be added to scratch, it would act like a list is to information, like if was making a game where you had to avoid lots of little particles bouncing around I would put if touching class, particles, that would contain the particle sprites instead of if touching if touching particle 1 or touching particle 2 or touching particle 3 or touching particle 4 or touching particle 5 or touching particle 6 or touching particle 7 or touching particle 8 ect, ect
