jessy just left a comment on 2 of my games! My mom and I looked up the word on Wikipedia, and it said it was an insult! It meant that I was new on Scratch, but I've been on here for months! I deleted both comments but I thought I should tell you incase they have done anything else disturbing.

I've noticed a series of projects called "Push the Button," it has no explicit content but It's definitely not suitable for children. It instucts you to push a buttton and when you do a startling face suddenly pops up. These are often known as "screamers" or "sabatoges" on the internet. If anyone sees anything like this, PLEASE flag it. They can terrify young children and mentally scar them for life. That actually happened to me when I was young and I'm still not over it to this day.
Please explain how my project scars children for life.

I'd say it scars them for a few seconds, then they get back to normal. It even has 7 LoveIts and 4 people have favorited it.
That project is really hilarious.
When I was like 4, I cracked up when I saw a screamer. But what would be innapropiate is if there were nudity or extreme graphic violence in a project, and not a big red scribble, or the sound of a video game crashing.

CONNER41950, don't list projects you think are inappropriate on the forum. All that does is advertise them. Use the "Flag as inappropriate?" button. That's what it is for.

A few times when I'm reading comments, I accidently click on them or something and they disapear. Does that mean I flagged it? If I did, you should have to write something about why you thought that post was inapropriate.

Online videogame communities are not known for being respectful. The standard here is higher.

There's some offensive tags on this project:
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/sunnygirl1/22541
I think there should be a language filter in the tags

NOTE TO ALL: I am closing this thread to discourage people from submitting links to inappropriate content.
We are very grateful with all of you that are helping us monitor the community, but posting links to inappropriate content (projects, comments, galleries, tags, etc) only increases the number of people who see it. For this reason I am closing this thread and I ask everyone to AVOID POSTING these kind of reports to the forums. Instead, please use the Flag as Inappropriate link on each project or click the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page.
Thank you very much and Scratch on!
Thank you.
