Super Smash Bros. Projects

In the past few weeks, I have seen many demos for Super Smash Bros. games. Why are so many people creating SSB games all of a sudden?

Re: Super Smash Bros. Projects

I think I started something with my Merry Smashmas project  smile

I guess since people have seen that it can be done they are trying to make their own which I think is pretty cool  smile

Re: Super Smash Bros. Projects

My guess is that the Super Smash Brawl craze is inspiring people.  It's an intriguing sort of game style that would be fun to make on scratch.  Apparently it's very hard though because most of the projects I've seen could still use some work.  smile

Re: Super Smash Bros. Projects

Well, since Brawl is coming out soon, I think that most people are making these games in order to gain popularity. ( I played a lot of them.  big_smile  )
