Birthday Notices
I think that Scratch should have a Birthday alert. It wouldn't tell the age you're turning, but simply alert others that it is your birthday. It would automatically send a message to all of friends, that way you can wish them a happy birthday!

A nice idea, but if you have five hundred friends you'll get three hundred or so messages wishing you a happy birthday.

Well, it's an option. You wouldn't have to put down your birthday. It would be simply optional. And you could also choose to or not to receive the birthday notices.

Lol. That wouldn't be such a bad thing......as I said, you can choose to or not to put your b-day down, and you could choose not to receive messages too.

That's because those people are slightly strange. There are hundreds of people that have birthdays on the same day. It's not like you can look it up and find whoever said when their birthday was.

Strange or not, those people's privacy would be disturbed by such a system, and it is the job of the Scratch Team to keep their members comfortable and safe. When it comes to privacy, they should be as careful as possible.
