ok here are somethings i wish for scratch!
1.Privacy mode
*users shall have the option to choose wether they want their stuff to set on private so friends only can view;the downside is that some scratch users won't be able to see some of the creative projects and some won't get featured so I guess that idea goes down the drain.
2.Ignored users
*when users are ignored, they should say instead of "Posted by a muted account" I think there comments shouldn't be displayed,it might make them look bad to other people when they post.So say if i were to comment on archmage's stuff and I am ignored people might think I am a bad person or something,I know this rarely happens but still if 1 or more people ignore you this could happen.
3.Project Assortment
*I forget who suggested this, but whoever did was awesome.Seperate the projects by their tags;like animation, games, ect.Though there would be a huge downside, most people don't tag their projects,But i think their projects should be put in a Uncatergorized section.
4.Forum Use
*I don't really know if any of you notice this, but only some scratch users use the forums XD it's just a wish that more people would use them.
5.Forum Notification
*If you make a topic and it is posted on,I think a notification should be sent about it,of course you would have the option to turn the notification on and off,but I don't know if they could be connected like that, still its just a wish.
6.Remixing or Stealing?
*there has been a few issues with the remixing problem, I admit myself,I ran into this problem. Some people remix your projects. Some remix it and might say they made it.I am fine with them claiming that as long as it says "A remix of (insert your username here)",but some people might take all the sprites out and put them into a new projects and it doesnt give credit!I know scratch is a free resourceful sharing website but it would be nice to be credited for hardwork!
7.Scratch themes
*this is just a wish but i wish that Scratch could be chosen in different colors, besides blue I think there should be red, orange, green, pink,or black. This is a suggestion so yah ^__^''
8.Terms of use required to be read before sign up
*make it so they must read the terms of use before signing up,like most you must scroll down to the end and then the "I have read the terms of use" button appears.Just a suggestion.
9.Smiley
*i would like a smiley face for "XD" that would be awesome
Well thats it i might edit this post later
bump

This is exactly what happened to me...someone (a popular Scratcher) copied all sprites and scripts out of a project of mine, remixed it by adding music and an unfitting animation and then got to the front page!
There should be some kind of additional information attached to every block and sprite that contains the Scratch user name (which can be inputted once and then can't be changed anymore for the blocks).
Now if Scratcher A copies some blocks and/or sprites from Scratch B and shares the project, on the project page there would be an information below the project: "Contains stuff by Scratcher A", with "Scratcher A" being a link to the profile page.
I hope the Scratch team will add something like this, it would help unpopular Scratchers' projects not to be stolen by the popular "Front pagers".
If you care here is the original project by me: 10 months ago, 4 love-its, 8 comments (not counting my own)
Now the stolen version: 2 months ago, 73 love-its, over 90 comments!
It's really disappointing for unpopular Scratchers to have their own projects stolen in such a way. A large part of the Scratch community is subjective and only cares for a project if it's by someone popular. A "Front pager"'s project gets tons of love-its, regardless of the quality of the project, while the original author of the project has absolutely no influence on this. I have no chance to do anything, I tried commenting on the project, then I flagged it, Nothing changed, no credit. I even got a comment on ME being the one who stole the project!
My Snake project wasn't very hard to make, but if this is going to happen on my future Pocket Tanks 2.0 project (which is EXTREMELY complicated!), I'll contact the Scratch Team to help me!
I still have some great projects on my computer, but I don't know if I even want to share them with the Scratch community, they'd just get stolen again!

1. NEVER GONNA HAPPEN. Srsly, stop asking, guys.
2. I don't know, I don't ignore people that much
3. Agree
4. Uh... wish granted? I go away for 2 days and like 15 new users in the forums
5. Too much spam mail/ clogging of the messages and stuff
6. I don't know of any way to actually copy sprites, unless they screenshot then edit out the stuff behind them then re upload them into a new project, so no idea.
7. Wut?

5 isn't brilliant. It might seem brilliant, unless you consider all aspects
Too much spam messages, and stuff, which will lead to lag
