Ok, so you made a game that you think i pretty good, so the next thing is get people to see it, one problem, you don't have a major fan base who regularly checks your projects. Ever wonder why you don't see mohoahley, or makedstar in the show and tell section? they don't need advertise, but you aren't them so there probably isn't 100 people looking at your stuff every day, so you need to tell people about your latest creation so you advertise! but they way you do it makes all the difference. which leads us to an important rules:     


       BE POLITE!!
On the subject bar, don't just say, "I have project that needs more views" or "I want this to get top loved" Of course you do, but to the viewer, this just like you want to get popular or your demanding something they can refuse: views and love-its. You want to be curious and humble, so it seems that you created this game only for the prepose of having some fun.


      GIVE LINKS!!
Ok so if the person looks at your topic, intending to see a good project and you don't have a link! people are busy, or at the lest don't want to spend a lot of time looking for a project, so you give them a link.


     HAVE A DESCRIPTION
I can't tell you many times I've seen where people just give me a link, or says look at or just begs. Take some time to write a little bit about your project, at the same time don't over-do it. the reader will get bored and probably won't make it to your link at the bottom. This gives people a preview of what they will see. and if they like it they will even more want to see your project.


     
     Screenshots help
people are more attracted to pictures then text, so to put a screenshot up on the forums right click and press grab screen region for new sprite, then export it to your desktop. then go to an image hosting site like image shack (click here) then uploade your image, then when it's finished and your brought to another page, copy the url and put it this code:

NOTE: THIS DOES NOT MEAN PEOPLE WILL LOOK AT YOUR PROJECT, DOING THIS JUST GIVES YOU A BETTER CHANCE
