I Guess the country is england since I'm in USA for vacation and I'm moving here NEXT year but I know I'm moving so I am saying I'm from USA

What does it mean by best overall game if there is already best game? Or is it meant to be best overall project?

I really think we should start new projects.

We were planning that too and - same as archmage - I don't want to feel like a loser for being the only guy to start a new project. It's just not fair - older records don't matter in the real olympics do they?

I have some great unfinished games that I did not share yet - so it's not just for personal benefit.

Even when older projects are allowed I would still opt for a new project for our team - we'll show you guys we don't need months of coding to complete a new game (when we are with 5!)

All projects shared after July 24 should be legitimate because that is when the thread was made.

In any programming contest, you are not allowed to continue an existing program.

That should be a no. You were going to release it anyway before the thread was made. You would have an unfair advantage over people who started new projects for the specific purpose of this competition.

the deadline is just for setting up teams, not for all projects in. you must have all teams set up by tomorrow. you can still get more teammates, but there will be no more new teams after tomorrow

You contradicted yourself. The thead and the contest it refers to was started on July 24. Don't let people enter projects started before this thread was.

Oops yeah I did..... I will change that to read "you cannot enter any projects before the contest is created... sorry...
