Multiple contest topics are currently using up a ton of space in the show and tell forum, deducting from the amount of advertisement topics that get looked at.

Some actually belong there, some don't, but why not make it easier by adding a contest forum where all these contests could be housed, I know it seems ridiculous to have a whole forum just for contests but there are alot of them right know and they need somewhere to go.

Please provide feedback, support or ideas.

I've tried doing this but no one went there. I could make a whole forum for all contests, but I went through a ton of work to make a contest forum, and I embedded like 15 scratch projects there and no one joined.

I could mess around with www.punbb-hosting.com/forums/ScratchContest and get it to work for more than 1 contst though.

Hmmm... It'll fade away - as longs as it fits in Show and Tell there isn't a problem.

Hmmmm... nice idea. Maybe The Scratch Team could make a whole new forum for it, or you could make a topic in the Show and Tell for contests and then someone could sticky it.

I see your concern but I don't think the Show and Tell forum has gotten too crowded yet...it's not that hard to scroll around and see all the new topics. The contest ones seem to be clearly identified so you can bypass them if you want.

If the Scratch Team decides to include this, then it would work better as a sub-forum, only PunBB doesn't allow sub-forums.
