I think an awesome addition to the next version of scratch would be this block <when I receive[ turned into this shape <( <=> )> This way, we could make shortcuts for variables for example, "Wait Until: I receive ___, then do this." A diamond shaped receive block would be awesome!

I like the idea too... and it doesn't sound very useless, even though you can do the same process with more blocks. It would also help cut down on variables...

Not again -_- this has been suggested like 50 times already and it is not possible since broadcasts are not boolean (yes or no)...
It may be because I rarely use broadcast blocks but I've never needed this block! An experienced programmer would simply avoid broadcasts and use variables.
